Plainfield Area Humane Society Paws4Laughter Comedy Show Fundraiser

Saving shelter dogs and cats is not only rewarding, but can
be lots of fun too at the first-ever 'Paws4Laughter' comedy show at The Dunellen Theater located at 458 North Avenue in Dunellen, New Jersey. This highly-anticipated event starring five hilarious New York/New Jersey-area national-headliner comics is open to the public, and will be held on Saturday evening, May 19, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. The cause is to raise funds for The Plainfield Area Humane Society (PAHS), a private non-profit organization that's been helping to find loving homes for pets in need since 1933.

This side-splittingly-funny show, orchestrated by well-known comedian Sheila Kay (www.sheilakay.com), a
resident of North Plainfield, will feature Sheila as one of the acts along with her four other popular comedic partners, John Garrett, Alex Barnett, Kevin Israel and Josh Spear, who have all generously donated their time for the event. After years of active involvement in various animal rescue efforts – from transporting shelter animals from down south to doing home visits for rescue groups, to taking in stray animals off the street – Sheila started
'Paws4Laughter' to give back even more. The show benefiting PAHS on May 19 is one of the many shows
she has done and plans to continue doing for shelters.

Food and drink will be available at the theater, including pizza and beer! There will also be a 50/50 sale held that evening. Tickets can be purchased online
for $20 apiece at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/245193 or in advance at the theater, or at the door for $25 on the night of the performance.

"Come and have a healing laugh put help homeless animals at the same time," says Sue MacWhinney-Ciufo of PAHS. "We're very grateful to Paws4Laughter for
putting on a howling good show to help the homeless animals!"
