Scotch Plains Lions Club Semi-Annual Pancake Breakfast. Ham, eggs, sausage and pancakes. $7.00 per person. Children under 6 free. Baskets of Cheer Raffles. The Pancake breakfast, as well as other fundriasers are used to: fund a generous scholarship to a worthy graduating senior from Scotch Plains/Fanwood High School while at Holiday time we distribute toys to needy children. We are able to provide assistance to the local Welfare Dept. for our Senior Citizens and we arrange for eye screenings at local Health Fairs. We collect no-longer-needed Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids at our “drop-off” box located in the center of town on Park Avenue and prepare them for recycling. We arrange for free or low cost eyeglasses to school children in need.
