The Art of Flower Arrangements

Lisa Mohn, owner of Apple Blossom Flowers & Candy will present ‘The art of fall flower arranging’ at the College Club of Fanwood – Scotch Plains’ meeting on October 18, 2010. Lisa is a floral designer; she specializes in creating unique presentations that reflect the customer's sentiments and personality. Born and raised in Kenilworth, she started the Apple Blossom shop 17 years ago. Lisa is currently the president of the Scotch Plains BPA (Business and Professional Association), and works tirelessly to improve the community. She continues to serve as chairperson for the Scotch Plains BPA’s “Old Fashioned Holiday Celebration” as she has for the last 18 years. Lisa also runs the Farmers Market in downtown Scotch Plains for the BPA. With all of these activities, it is no wonder that she has been selected as the 2010 Volunteer of the Year and will be honored at this year’s Mayor’s Charity Gala. The Apple Blossom Flowers & Candy shop is located at 381 Park Avenue in Scotch Plains. The College club meeting on October 18th will be held at The Chelsea Independent Living Area 295 South Avenue, Fanwood. Hospitality and refreshments begin at 7:30 PM and Lisa’s program will be presented at 8:00 PM. The public is invited to attend along with College Club members and their guests.
