'Party in Pink' Zumbathon to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Fight

The Scotch Plains Day event will run from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the Alan Augustine Village Green.

The Scotch Plains Recreation Commission is sponsoring a “Party in Pink” Zumbathon on Scotch Plains Day on Sunday.

The event, which will run from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the Alan Augustine Village Green, will serve as a fundraiser in the fight against breast cancer.  Participants can register in advance in the Recreation Department office or throughout Scotch Plains on the Village Green.  

Participants are asked for a suggested donation of $15, which will support the Susan G. Komen Foundation in their quest for a cure.

All participants of all abilities are welcome as instructors from both RWJ Fitness and Wellness as well as Graham Fitness of Scotch Plains will be donating their time for this worthy cause.

Party in Pink is also sponsored by Darby Road Pub, RWJ Fitness and Wellness Center and Graham Fitness of Scotch Plains.
