Fanwood Mayor Thanks Sandy Responders, Reflects on Storm

The mayor and police chief looked back at the storm's impact with thanks to those who helped the borough cope.

Mayor Colleen Mahr hosted lunch last Friday at the Carriage House for Fanwood's paid staff and volunteers who got the town through Hurricane Sandy one year ago.

The mayor and Police Chief Trigo looked back at the storm's impact with thanks to the many individuals who worked hard to help the town cope with the storm's effect.

Present were employees and volunteers of the Dept. of Public Works, Police and Fire Departments, Rescue Squad, Library, administrative office staff, Borough Council and others who contributed to the recovery.
