The We Dream Team to Run Fanwood 5K and 1 Mile Family Run

The following information was provided by the We Dream Team.

The We Dream Team will again be participating in the Fanwood 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run on Sunday October 21st at 9:00 am.  

Last year we had over 20 runners represent the We Dream Team and this year we want to quadruple that number! 

Our goal is to get as many walkers and runners on the course wearing our shirt and representing our team to help spread awareness about Autism Family Times and the programs they offer for children with autism and their families living in our community.   

This year we are inviting EVERYONE to participate in the 5K AND the 1 mile family fun run!  So grab all your friends and family members and register for the race! Forward this email to anyone and everyone that you know, athletes of ALL abilities are invited and encouraged to participate, you can walk the entire race if you want to! Both the 1 mile family fun run and the 5K are stroller friendly. We will again be providing We Dream Team t-shirts for everyone to wear during the race thanks to two new team sponsors, Creative Speech Solutions in Summit and Let’s Yo! in Watchung.    

Register NOW!!!  Register online at www.fanwood5k.org There is also a link on the website to register by mail if you prefer that option. (Anyone who registers for the 5K is welcome to participate in the 1 mile family fun run at no additional cost, so if you would like to do the 1 mile with your family and then run the 5K, you can sign them up for the fun run and sign yourself up for the 5K) IMPORTANT!!! 

Once you have registered, please send me an email to wedreamteam@autismfamilytimes.org letting us know what size shirts you and your friends/family will need. 

The shirts will be cotton t-shirts and last year the adult shirts did run a little big (women wanting an adult XS are encouraged to order a youth XL)  T-shirts come in the following sizes:Adult: S, M, L, XL, 1X, 2X, 3XYouth: XS(2-4), S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16), XL(18-20)Infant: 12 months, 18 months, 24 months Feel free to email me with any questions, looking forward to seeing everyone on October 21st!
