Scotch Plains Annual Holiday Celebration Will Take Place Dec. 2

On Dec. 2 Santa will visit Scotch Plains, along with horse drawn carriage rides, holiday music and refreshments.

On Dec. 2 outside of  the Scotch Plains Municipal building, Santa Claus will arrive to greet the children of town.

The Scotch Plains Holiday Celebration will run from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on the Alan Augustine Village Green.

Parents should bring their cameras as children will get a free photo with Santa!

In addition to a snap shot with Mr. Claus, other events such as horse drawn carriage rides and carols sung by the Girl Scouts will take place.

Also, hot chocolate and pastries will be provided courtesy of the Scotch Plains Volunteer Fire Association.

Children can find Santa in the gazebo from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., followed by the holiday light ceremony at 5 p.m.

Will you be attending?

Events sponsored by the Scotch Plains Recreation Department and the Scotch Plains Business & Professional Association.
