Scotch Plains and Fanwood to Pay to Tribute to Our Veterans

Tomorrow, both towns will have ceremonies honoring those served.

Tomorrow, November 11, is Veterans Day. Instead of kicking back on the couch on the Federal Holiday, take the opportunity to pay tribute to our veterans. Fanwood and Scotch Plains will be having small remembrance ceremonies, inviting all to come and pay tribute to those who have risked their lives, or paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live freely in this country.

The American Legion Post 209 and Veterans of Foreign Wars 10122 will be hosting two services to honor our veterans.

All are welcome to join the VFW and American Legion at 11:00 a.m. for the laying of wreaths at the Veterans Monument at Park Avenue and Front Street in Scotch Plains.
