“Senior Day at Scotch Hills” Will Take Place September 27th

The Scotch Plains Recreation Commission is sponsoring a day dedicated to Seniors.

The following information was provided by the Scotch Plains Recreation Committee.

“Senior Day at Scotch Hills” is open to all Scotch Plains senior citizens, at the Scotch Hills Country Club, located at 820 Jerusalem Rd.

Scotch Plains residents who are seniors will have the opportunity to experience a free round at the award winning Scotch Hills mini-golf course at any time that day.

Along with the free mini-golf, Scotch Plains seniors can enjoy golf for free that day as well, on the 9-Hole Scotch Hills Golf Course.

In celebrating “Senior Day,” bingo will be held from 10:30am to 11:15 am, with prizes awarded to the winners.

Additionally, a barbecue will be held at the Scotch Hills Country Club from Noon to 2pm, allowing seniors to socialize after their mini-golf or golf rounds.

Seniors who are unable to attend the barbecue are still welcome to experience the mini-golf & golf course at anytime that day, by simply going to the pro shop and obtaining their free round.

Seniors who are in need of transportation to and from the event should call the Scotch Plains Dial-A-Ride hotline at 908-322-5151.

All ride reservations must be called in by Monday, September 24th.
