Box Truck Creates Oil Spill on Terrill Road on Friday Morning

Union County Haz-Mat determined scene safe.


The Fanwood Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of an oil spill on Terrill Road at 10:47 a.m. on Friday.

A disabled box truck caused the spill between the area of North Avenue and Midway Avenue.

The spill called for additional service from Union County Haz-Mat and the Union County Department of Public Works.

The area of 204 Terrill Road was determined safe by Union County Haz-Mat by 11:20 a.m.
