Copper Pipes Stolen From Vacant Scotch Plains House

Police believe entrance to the home was gained through an open basement window.

A Cushing Road resident reported on June 20 being a victim of a burglary, Scotch Plains police said.

The resident told police that sometime overnight copper pipes were removed from the basement.

Police believe entrance to the home was gained through an open basement window. The house is currently vacant.
