MyCentralJersey.com: Court Upholds Conviction in Scotch Plains Slaying

Kevin Conley is serving a life sentence in New Jersey State Prison in Trenton.

A state appeals court has upheld the conviction of Kevin Conley, 44, of New Brunswick, who is currently serving a life sentence for the slaying of a Scotch Plains woman in 1993.

Conley was found guilty of murder, aggravated sexual assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and burglary in connection with the death of 87-year-old Doris Koues at her Skytop Drive home on July 10, 1993.

He tried to appeal the conviction, but the court rejected his arguments.
