Fanwood Afternoon Storm Update
Due to expected frigid temperatures, the Chelsea Senior Living residence is a designated warming station.
Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr and Police Chief Richard Trigo have issued the following afternoon storm update on Monday:
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for our area through 6:00 AM, Wednesday, Jan. 22nd. Snow could accumulate to 10 inches or more by the time it ends overnight. Winds may gust up to 30 MPH causing frigid wind chills. Here's the latest information from the Borough of Fanwood:
- Due to expected frigid temperatures, the Chelsea Senior Living residence, 295 South Avenue, is a designated warming station. Anyone in immediate need of warmth may go there. Please bring any medications or other necessities. Fanwood Police will arrange transportation if you call 908-322-5000.
