Fanwood Blotter: Arrests and Thefts

The following information was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.


November 27, 2012: At 9:15 a.m. an officer made a motor vehicle stop at Terrill Road and East 2nd Street for a motor vehicle violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Springfield. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. The defendant is a Tammie Ellis, a 48-year-old female from Iselin. 

November 27, 2012: Between 4:27 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. a resident in the 50 block of Waldon Road reported a burglary to her house. A television and iPod were taken. The value is $ 3,300.00. 

November 27, 2012: At 8:06 p.m. an officer made a motor vehicle stop in the 200 block of Terrill Road for a motor vehicle violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Newark. The driver was arrested, processed and turned over to Newark P.D. The defendant is a Kirk Ochoa, a 46-year-old male from Livingston. 

November 28, 2012: Between 11:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. a resident in the 100 block of South Martine Avenue reported a package taken from the front porch. The value is $ 125.00. 

November 29, 2012: At 1:38 p.m. while Officers were assisting another Police Department with an investigation they located a suspect and attempted to speak with her, but she attempted to flee into her house. The Officers were able to stop her and they also found suspected Controlled Dangerous Substance(CDS) on her. She was arrested, charged with possession of C.D.S., processed, posted bail and released. The defendant is a Christina Sblendorio, a 21-year-old female from Fanwood. 

November 29, 2012: At 6:49 p.m. an officer made an arrest on a person who was in court for an outstanding warrant out of Lawrenceville. He was processed and turned over to Lawrenceville P.D. The defendant is a Marcus Smith, a 26-year-old male from Ewing.
