Fanwood Blotter: Criminal Mischief, Theft, and Warrant Arrests

The following information was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

July 24–July 25, 2012: A Herbert Avenue resident reported criminal mischief to her parked vehicle overnight

July 24, 2012: A business on South Avenue reported theft of gasoline by the driver of a black Mercedes Benz. The driver filled the tank with about $53 worth of gasoline and drove off without paying.

July 26, 2012: A Monroe, NJ man was arrested for an active warrant out of North Plainfield, NJ on North Martine Avenue.

July 27, 2012: A Newark, NJ man was arrested for an active warrant out of Essex County as a result of a vehicle stop on Terrill Road and George Street. The passenger, an Allentown, PA man was also arrested for an active warrant out of East Orange, NJ.

June 29, 2012: A North Plainfield, NJ woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest as a result of a motor vehicle stop on South Avenue and Terrill Road.

July 29, 2012: A North Plainfield, NJ man was arrested for active warrants out of Union County, Somerset County, and South Plainfield, NJ as a result of response to a suspicious person call in the area of Midway Avenue and Farley Avenue.

July 29, 2012: A Plainfield, NJ woman was arrested for active warrants out of Atlantic City, Tinton Falls, NJ and Piscataway, NJ as a result of a vehicle stop at South Avenue and Terrill Road.

July 30, 2012: A business on South Avenue was burglarized. An unknown person smashed the business’ window and stole a cash register.

July 30, 2012: A Plainfield, NJ woman was arrested for an active warrant out of Fanwood, NJ as a result of a vehicle stop at South Avenue and Terrill Road.
