Fanwood Blotter: D.W.I. Arrest Made on South Avenue

The following information was provided by the Fanwood Police Department.

On February 3, 2013: At 2:20 a.m. a Fanwood police officer made a motor vehicle stop at Old South Avenue East and South Avenue for a motor vehicle violation. While the Officer was speaking with the driver he could detect an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle. The Officer asked the driver to exit the vehicle for some field sobriety tests. The driver was unable to complete the tests and was placed under arrest. The driver was charged with D.W.I. and released to a responsible person. The defendant is Denise Quinto, 42, from Somerset.
