Fanwood PD Arrest 7 in 3 Days for Active Warrants

Robyn Simpson, 48, of Westfield, was arrested at 4:01 a.m. on June 21, for an active warrant out of Scotch Plains. The Officer stopped Simpson for a motor vehicle violation on South Avenue and discovered the warrant. Simpson was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. 

Geoffrey Pridgeon, 53, of South Plainfield, was arrested at 8:54 a.m. on June 22, for an active warrant out of South Plainfield, Piscataway and Plainfield. The Officer stopped Pridgeon for a motor vehicle violation at East 7th Street and Terrill Road and discovered the warrant. Pridgeon was arrested, processed and turned over to Middlesex County Sheriff's Office.

Jovan Jordan, 25, of Plainfield was arrested at 11:57 a.m. on June 23, for an active warrant out of Fanwood. The Officer stopped Jordan for a motor vehicle violation at Terrill and Paterson Road and discovered the warrant. Jordan was arrested, processed, posted bail and released.

M.D. Warren, 55, of Scotch Plains, was arrested at 3:09 a.m. on June 23, for an active warrant out of Hillside. The Officer stopped Warren for a motor vehicle violation at South Avenue and 4th Street and discovered the warrant. Warren was arrested, processed, posted bail and released.

On June 23, at 6:03 p.m., a Fanwood Police Officer stopped a vehicle containing a driver and two passengers for a motor vehicle violation on South Avenue. After checking the driver’s license, Police discovered that the driver, Andre Bryant, 42, of Plainfield, had an active warrant out of Plainfield. A check of the first passenger, Clarence Morris, 49, of Teaneck, showed an active warrant out of Maplewood. Morris was placed under arrest. A check of a second passenger, Wesley Porter, 42, of Plainfield, showed an active warrant out of Paterson. Porter was also placed under arrest. All the defendants were processed, posted bail and released.
