Fanwood PNC Bank Robbed on Saturday Morning

Authorities are looking for a white male, between 30 and 35 years old with a stocky build.

Authorities are looking for a man who robbed the Fanwood PNC Bank on South Martine Avenue Saturday morning.

Fanwood Police said they responded to the robbery after a 911 call at about 11:15 a.m.

The robber, according to police, is a white male, 30 to 35 years old, approximately 5-foot-7, stocky build, approximately 200 pounds. Police said he has brown hair, brown sideburns and a brown beard and was wearing a black coat, black gloves, black pants, a red-orange baseball cap and a blue scarf. Police said no one was injured and the department and the FBI are investigating. Chief Richard Trigo said the Union County Sheriff's K-9 unit also was called out for the initial investigation. 

Trigo could not reveal how much money was taken or how the man demanded the money.
