Intruder Wakes Up Fanwood Resident, Leaves Empty-Handed

The resident woke to find a first-floor window open and screen ripped, police said.

A resident on the 100 block of South Avenue in Fanwood reported that someone broke into her home during the overnight hours on Nov. 13. 

The resident woke to find a first-floor window open and screen ripped. 
 
Police responded but found no one inside. Police said it appears entry was made but nothing is missing from the home at this time.
