FW Police Arrest Cranford Man for Home Burglary

The man was wanted in connection with a burglary on Midway Avenue.

Fanwood police have arrested a Cranford man for burglarizing a home on Midway Avenue on Oct. 2.

Albertito M. Rodriguez, 32, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. on Oct. 10 and charged with burglary, possession of stolen property and trespassing.

Rodriguez was tied with the burglary of a home on Midway Avenue that happened sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Oct 2. The homeowner told police at the time that he came home to find his house ransacked.

Detectives processed the scene, and after working with other jurisdictions, were able to tie Rodriguez to the crime.

Fanwood Police Lt. Richard Trigo said that Rodriguez has also been charged with burglary by several other towns in Union, Middlesex and Somerset counties.
