'Mr. Incredible' Was Drunk, Confused, Scotch Plains Police Say

South Plainfield man refused to answer the officer's questions and tried to run away, according to report.

A drunken 26-year-old South Plainfield man dressed in a Halloween costume as "Mr. Incredible" was arrested after attempting to get into a car that wasn't his and refusing to answer questions from officers, Scotch Plains Police said.

Carlos Aguilar was charged with obstruction of justice on Sunday when an officer found him trying to enter a vehicle on Flanders Avenue, police said.

Aguilar was arrested when he refused to answer the officer's questions and tried to run away, police said. The officer determined he was drinking at a Halloween party and thought the car was his, police said.

Aguilar was transported back to headquarters where he was processed and released.
