New Providence Police: Scotch Plains Woman Attempted to Fill Fraudulent Oxycodone Prescription

Feb. 20, 2013:

Patrolman David Rodriguez arrested Stephanie Jacobus, 26, of Scotch Plains with attempting to obtain a controlled dangerous substance by fraud and forgery.

The charges stem from a report from CVS Pharmacy that she was attempted to fill a fraudulent prescription for Oxycodone. 

Detectives are investigating a male that was involved in this incident with Ms. Jacobus but fled the scene.  During the arrest, a warrant from Bernards Township Municipal Court was located.

Ms. Jacobus posted bail and was released with a pending court date.
