A Scotch Plains man who was arrested in September for trying to sell fake gold coins to a jewelry store may lose them soon.
A Morris County prosecutor is trying to rid William Gary, 52, of Scotch Plains, his brother, Gerald Gary, 55, and David Bell, 57, of Hillside, of any rights they may claim to the coins.
The men were charged in September with theft, theft-by-deception and conspiracy to commit robbery at a store in Kinnelon.
