Scotch Plains Blotter: Cell Phone Stolen at Park Ave. Restaurant and Other Thefts

January 14, 2013:
An owner of a Route 22 store reported being a victim of Criminal Mischief. He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) threw paint on his building causing damage.

January 14, 2013: The manager of a Route 22 gas station reported being a victim of a Theft.  He stated a customer received approximately $20 in gas and then left without paying.

resident of Indian Run Lane reported being a victim of Fraud.  She stated that unknown suspect(s) made approximately $300 in purchases on her credit card without her authorization.

Janaury 16, 2013: 

A resident of Willow Ave. reported being a victim of Fraud.  She stated she received a letter from a collection agency stating she owed $1,600 for purchases she made.  She stated she never made these purchases.  

January 18, 2013: 

A resident of Westfield reported being a victim of a Theft. She stated that while she was at a Park Avenue restaurant unknown suspect(s) removed her cell phone from her pocketbook.  The phone was valued at approximately $700.
