What kind of a cell phone costs $700?

Hi kettle back, Often if you are not renewing your contract and are buying the phone at face value the full price is actually way more than what you would purchase when renewing a contract and getting the phone. For example, phones such as the iPhone 5 are $650 at Verizon and the Samsung Galaxy Note at face value from Verizon is $700.

Thanks, Nicole. I knew the Iphone was expensive but didn't realize it was that much. I still have a 2008 flip phone!
