Scotch Plains Blotter: Copper Piping Stolen From Home For Sale

The following arrest information was provided by the Scotch Plains Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Scotch Plains police activity from May 13 - 20, 2013:

5/13      A resident of Clydesdale Rd. reported being a victim of Harassment.  She stated that unknown suspect(s) left garbage in her mailbox.

5/10     A resident of Country Club Lane reported being a victim of a Theft.  He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) entered his vehicle which was parked in the lot.  Once inside the suspect(s) removed several DVDs. valued at approximately $100.  Entrance was gained through an unlocked door.

5/14        A resident of John St. reported being a victim of Criminal Mischief.  He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) broke a light in his front yard.

5/14    Jason Paszkowski Age. 25 of McClellan St. Cranford N.J. was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.  Off. Luciano stopped Paszkowski for a motor vehicle violation on Mountain Ave. and while speaking with him he observed the Marijuana.  He was arrested and transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

5/15    A resident of Crestwood Rd. reported being a victim of Fraud.  She stated she received a call from her bank stating that unknown suspect made several thousand dollars in purchases without her authorization.

5/17    The realtor for a vacant home on Short Hills Lane reported a burglary to the residence.  The realtor stated sometime between May 10, 2013 and May 17 unknown suspect(s) entered the house.  Once inside the suspect(s) took copper piping.  Entrance was gained thru a basement window.

5/17     Steven Quince Age. 29 of Sherman Ave. Plainfield N.J. was arrested for Possession of marijuana.  Off. Luciano stopped Quince for a motor vehicle violation on Belvidere Ave. and while speaking with him he observed the Marijuana.  He was arrested and transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

5/19     Travail Boone Age. 19 of East St. Plainfield N.J. was arrested for a $1, 000 outstanding warrant issued by the Woodbridge court.  Off. Rites stopped Boone for a motor vehicle violation on Rahway Rd. and discovered the warrant.  He was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.
