Theft

November 12, 2012: A resident of Morse Ave. reported being a victim of a Theft. He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) entered his yard.  Once on the property the suspect(s) removed a generator that was valued at approximately $800.

November 12, 2012: A resident of Valleyscent Ave. reported being a victim of Harassment.  She stated that she has received several phone calls and the unknown person yells obscenities at her.


Fraud 

November 13, 2012: A resident of Park Place  reported being a victim of Fraud.  She stated that unknown suspect(s) used her credit card number and made several thousand dollars in purchases without her authorization.

November 14, 2012: A resident of Watchung terrace reported being a victim of Fraud. She stated that unknown suspect(s) charged approximately $500 to her pay pal account without her authorization.



Criminal Mischief 


November 13, 2012: 
A business owner on Park Ave. reported that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) illegally dumped an old washer and dryer on his property.

Novmeber 16, 2012:
A resident of Martine Ave. reported being a victim of Criminal Mischief.  She stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) damaged a sign that they had on their property.

Arrests

November 16, 2012: Joseph Stanzone Age. 29 of Old Raritan Rd. Edison N.J. was arrested for a $1,240 outstanding warrant issued by the South Plainfield court.  Off. Lavery stopped Stanzone for a motor vehicle violation on Rahway Rd. and discovered the warrant.  He was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

 

November 17, 2012: Rene Zevallos-Vera, Age. 36, of Bergenfield N.J. was arrested for a No Bail warrant issued by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Dept. Officer Bruschetti stopped Zevallos-Vera for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 and discovered the warrant.  He was arrested and transported to headquarters where he was processed and released to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.

 

November 18, 2012: Edward Hood, Age. 20, of North Brunswick N.J. was arrested for Obstruction of Justice. Officer Ostrowski stopped Hood for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 and while speaking to him Hood gave several names and date of births. He was placed under arrest and transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.
