Scotch Plains Blotter: Harassment, Theft, and Warrant Arrests

The following information was provided by the Scotch Plains Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

July 9, 2012: A Terrill Road resident reported being a victim of harassment from a neighbor who yells obscenities at her and parks her vehicle in front of her house.

July 10, 2012: A Country Club Lane resident reported being a victim of a theft. He reported loss of several DVDs valued around $100 from his vehicle, which was parked in a lot and left unlocked.

July 11, 2012: A Hunter Avenue resident reported being a victim of criminal mischief. He said the front window of his residence was broken with a rock overnight.

July 12, 2012: A Piscataway, NJ man was arrested for possession of marijuana as a result of vehicle stop by Ptl. Luciano.

July 14, 2012: A Fanwood, NJ woman was involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in the injury of a Berkley Heights, NJ woman. The woman was backing out of a parking space at the farmer’s market in the Municipal parking lot when she put her foot on the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal. She struck several parked cars, chairs, and tents.

July 14, 2012: A Plainfield, NJ woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant after a vehicle stop was performed by Ptl. Von Langen.

July 15, 2012: A Scotch Plains, NJ man was arrested for an outstanding warrant after a vehicle stop was performed by Ptl. Denmann.

July 15, 2012: A Union City, NJ man was arrested for an outstanding warrant after a vehicle stop was performed by Ptl. Silva.
