4/8                        The manager of a Route 22 business reported being a victim of a Theft.  She stated an unknown suspect(s) removed several thousand dollars in computers off of a desk while the business was open.

 

4/8                        A resident of Seward Dr. reported being a victim of Harassment.  She stated that when her ex-husband picked up their kids he yelled obscenities at her.     

 

4/9                        A resident of Crest Lane reported being a victim of a Theft.  He stated that sometime over the last several days one of the workers in her house removed several thousand dollars in jewelry.

 

4/9                        A resident of Rahway Rd. reported being a victim of Fraud.  He stated that unknown suspect(s) made approximately $200 in purchases on his credit card without his authorization.

 

4/9                        A resident of Alton Way reported being a victim of a Burglary.  He stated sometime between Wednesday march 27 and Tuesday April 8 unknown suspect(s) entered his residence.  Once inside the suspect(s) removed several television sets.  Entrance was gained by forcing open a rear window.

 

4/10                      Billy Stewart Age. 45 of 12th St. Bethleham N.J. was arrested for Simple Assault. Off. Combs responded to a report of a disturbance at a Route 22 gas station.  Upon arrival it was determined that Stewart had assaulted one of the workers.  He was placed under arrest. He was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

 

4/10                      Brianna Kowal Age. 23 of Harrison Rd. Pompton Plains N.J. was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.  Off. Ostrowski stopped Kowal for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 and while speaking with him he smelled a strong odor of alcohol.  After Kowal failed several field sobriety tests she was arrested and transported to H.Q. where she was processed and released.

 

4/13                      A resident of East Second St. reported being a victim of Criminal Mischief. She stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) damaged her mailbox.

 

4/13                      A resident of Victor St. reported being a victim of Criminal Mischief.  He stated sometime during the last several days unknown suspect(s) threw a rock threw his front window to his house.

 

4/14                      Thomas Nesmith Age. 33 of Penn Place Linden N.J. was arrested for Possession Fraudulent I.D.   Off. Rites stopped Nesmith for a motor vehicle violation on Raritan Rd. and Nesmith showed him a fake ID He was arrested and transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released after posting bail.
