Theft

September 25, 2012:  The manager of a Route 22 gas station reported being a victim of a Theft.  He stated a customer received approximately $25 in gas and then left without paying.

September 26, 2012: A resident of Cellar Ave. reported being a victim of a Theft.  He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) removed his vehicle which was parked in front of his house.

September 27, 2012:  The manager of Metro PCS on Raritan Rd. reported being a victim of a Theft.  He stated that sometime over the last few weeks unknown suspect(s) cut the cooper wiring from the cell tower.

September 29, 2012:  A resident of Jackson Ave. reported being a victim of a Theft. She stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) removed her vehicle which was parked in her driveway.



Fraud

September 26, 2012: A resident of Park Ave. reported being a victim of Fraud. She stated that unknown suspect(s) made approximately $500 in purchases on her credit card without her authorization.



Criminal Mischief

September 24, 2012:  An owner of a Route 22. store reported being a victim of Criminal Mischief. He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) threw paint at his building causing damage. 

 


Arrests

 

September 27, 2012:  Dawn Doughlin Age. 34 of East Second St. Scotch Plains N.J. was arrested for a $190 outstanding warrant issued by the East Orange court.  Officer Denman stopped Doughlin for a motor vehicle violation on Terrill Road and discovered the warrant.  She was transported to H.Q. where she was processed and released.

September 27, 2012:  Thomas Gray Age. 66 of Watchung Ave. Plainfield N.J. was arrested for a $1,411 outstanding warrant issued by the Scotch Plains court. Officer Citarella stopped Gray for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 and discovered the warrant.  He was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

September 29, 2012: Ronald Williams Age. 55 of Hightor Dr. Watchung N.J.  was arrested for a $1,195 outstanding warrant issued by the North Brunswick court. Officer Mahoney stopped Williams for a motor vehicle violation on Park Ave and discovered the warrant.  He was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

October 1, 2012:  Jermain Miller Age. 33 of Mountain Ave. Scotch Plains N.J. was arrested for a No Bail outstanding warrant issued by the Essex County court. Officer Pearson stopped Miller for a motor vehicle violation on Mountain Ave. and discovered the warrant.  He was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and turned over to the Essex County Sheriff’s Dept.
