Scotch Plains Blotter: Theft, Criminal Mischief and Arrests

The following information was provided by the Scotch Plains Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

 

December 18, 2012: A resident of Sunnyfield Lane reported being a victim of a Theft.  He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) entered his vehicle.  Once inside the suspect(s) removed several pieces of electronics valued at approximately $250.  Entrance was gained through an unlocked door.

 

December 18, 2012: A resident of Martine Ave.  reported being a victim of Harassment.  He stated that an ex- employee calls him several times a day and leaves vulgar messages.

 

December 19, 2012:  The manager of a South Ave. store reported being victim of a Theft.  He stated that unknown suspect(s) removed several items from the store without paying for them.  The items were worth approximately $35.

 

December 19, 2012:  A resident of Lake Ave. Dr. reported being a victim of Criminal Mischief.  She stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) damaged her lawn by driving over it with a vehicle.

 

December 20, 2012: Dajuan Hester Age. 19 of Piscataway was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.  Officer Pearson stopped heater for a motor vehicle violation and while speaking with him, he observed the Marijuana.  Hester was placed under arrest and transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.  

December 21, 2012:  Brandon Williams Age. 20 of Irvington was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.  Officer Diaz, while on routine patrol on Park Ave., observed Williams smoking marijuana.  Williams was placed under arrest and transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

 

December 21, 2012:  A resident of Mountain Ave. reported being a victim of a Theft.  She stated sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) entered her vehicle.  Once inside the suspect(s) removed her purse.  Entrance was gained by smashing the passenger window.

 

December 21, 2012: A resident of Beechwood Place  reported being a victim of a Theft.  He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) entered his vehicle.  Once inside the suspect(s) removed his briefcase.  Entrance was gained by smashing the passenger window.

 

December 21, 2012: A resident of Park View Dr. reported being a victim of Theft.  He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) entered his vehicle.  Once inside the suspect(s) removed a baseball bag.  Entrance was gained by smashing the passenger window.

 

December 22, 2012:  Rimsky Horrego Age. 36 of Elizabeth was arrested for a $300 outstanding warrant issued by the Verona court.  Officer Luciano stopped Horrego for a motor vehicle violation on South Ave. and discovered the warrant. Horrego was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

 

December 23, 2012:  Eric Eatman Age. 44 of Plainfield was arrested for a $181 outstanding warrant issued by the Scotch Plains court.  Officer Denman responded to West Broad St. on a report of a dispute, upon his arrival he discovered the warrant.  Eatman was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.
