The following information was provided by the Scotch Plains Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
July 18, 2012: A Plainfield, NJ man was arrested for an outstanding warrant as a result of a vehicle stop by Ptl. Silva.
July 19, 2012: A Birch Street resident reported being the victim of an internet fraud. The matter is being investigated.
July 20, 2012: A Colonia, NJ woman was arrested for controlled dangerous substances in a motor vehicle after being stopped by Ptl. D. Belford.

July 19-20, 2012: A South Avenue business was burglarized, with a cash register and money stolen. The matter is being investigated.
July 20, 2012: A Union Beach, NJ woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant as a result of a vehicle stop by Ptl. Van Langen.
July 20, 2012: A Somerset, NJ man was arrested for multiple warrants as a result of a vehicle stop by Ptl. D. Belford.
July 21, 2012: An East Orange, NJ man was arrested for an outstanding warrant as a result of a vehicle stop by Ptl. Diaz.
July 22, 2012: A Garwood, NJ man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was also charged with receiving stolen property and possession of a weapon by Sgt. Hernandez.
July 22, 2012: A Newark Avenue resident reported a theft of a flag from his property.
