Drunk driving arrests top the list of recent criminal activity in Scotch Plains.

Arrests

Alexandra Lambros, 22, of Cook Avenue, Scotch Plains was arrested on December 24 for driving while intoxicated. Officer Richie responded to the motor vehicle accident and smelled a strong odor of alcohol while speaking with Lambros. After she failed several sobriety tests, Lambros was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed and released.

Willie Heard, 21, of Sycamore Avenue, Scotch Plains, was arrested on December 24 for driving while intoxicated. Officer Budzinski responded to a one vehicle accident on Mountain Avenue and smelled a strong odor of alcohol while speaking with Heard. After failing several sobriety tests, Heard was placed under arrest, transferred to police headquarters, processed and released.

Sharmar Wormley, 29, of Newark, was arrested on December 24 for driving while intoxicated. Officer Richie stopped Wormley for a motor vehicle violation and smelled a strong odor of alcohol while speaking with him. Wormley was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters and released.

Roger Fox, 38, of Keasbey, was arrested on December 23, at Raritan Road for driving while intoxicated. Officer Mahoney stopped Fox for a motor vehicle violation and smelled a strong odor of alcohol. After Fox failed several sobriety tests, he was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed and released.

Donald Patterson, 31, of Jackson Avenue, Scotch Plains, was arrested on December 23 at East Second Street for a 500 dollar outstanding warrant issued by the Scotch Plains court. Officer Budzinski stopped Patterson for a motor vehicle violation, discovered the warrant, and transported Patterson to headquarters where he was processed and released.

Fraud

On December 21 a Grand Street resident reported an act of fraud. The victim stated that unknown suspect(s) made several thousand dollars in purchases without his authorization.

Criminal Mischief

On December 21, a Raritan Road resident reported that sometime during the night, unknown suspect(s) threw a rock through his vehicle which was parked in his drive way.

Burglary

On December 22, a burglary occurred on Frank Street. The victim stated that sometime during the night, unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked vehicle which was parked in his driveway, and stole an undetermined amount of change.

On December 23, a burglary occurred on Greenville Road. The victim stated that sometime during the night, unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked vehicle which was parked in his driveway, and stole an undetermined amount of cash.

On December 23, a burglary occurred on Lake Avenue. The victim stated that sometime during the night unknown suspects entered his unlocked vehicle which was parked in front of his drive way. A lap top computer valued at approximately 2000 dollars was stolen.
