The Fanwood Blotter: Resident Reports Man Exposed Himself to Her

On 05/06/2013 @ 1:43 PM Officer made a M.V. stop @ Farley Ave. & Watson Rd. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of South Plainfield. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Ollie Akins-Harvey 57 year old female from Scotch Plains.  

On 05/06/2013 @ 3:55 PM Officer made a M.V. stop in the 300 block of Midway Ave. for a M.V. violation. While the Officer was speaking with the driver he could detect an odor of an alcoholic beverage from the driver. The driver was asked to perform some field sobriety tests which he was unable to complete. The driver was arrested, processed, charged with D.W.I. and released to a responsible person. Defendant is a Joseph Calderone 50 year old male from South Plainfield. 

Between 04/12/2013 & 04/15/2013 a Victim reported his locked bicycle was stolen from the Northside Train Station. The description is a silver/blue Northrock Men's mountain bike. Value is $300.00.  

On 05/09/2013 @ 9:00 PM a female Victim reported that she was in the 200 block of South Ave. when a white male in his mid twenties, 5'-5" to 5'7" tall, wearing a black hoodie covering his face, blue sweat pants with a white stripe on the side and white or grey sneakers did a lewd act by exposing himself to the victim. A check by patrol units was negative for the suspect. Police are investigating.  

On 5/11/2013 @ 12:56 AM Officer observed a suspicious person in the 290 block of South Ave. A check of this person shows an active warrant out of Sayreville. This person was arrested, processed and released by Sayreville P.D. Defendant is a Stephen McDougald 45 year old male from Plainfield.
