Three Plainfield Teens Arrested for Possession in SP
Police found marijuana plants in their vehicle.
Scotch Plains police arrested three Plainfield teens on Friday for possession of marijuana.
Abel Perez, 19, Eddy Hernandez, 19, and Jefferson Lopez, 19, were all arrested after an officer stopped them for a motor vehicle violation and smelled marijuana.
Lopez consented for a search of the vehicle, prompting the officer to call for police K-9 to perform a search. The search yielded several large marijuana plants in the vehicle.

Perez, Hernandez, and Lopez, were all taken to police headquarters, where they were processed and released.
