Tom the Green Grocer Store Burglarized, Scotch Plains Police Say

After entering by prying open a window, the burglar(s) took cash, police say.

Tom the Green Grocer Store on South Avenue in Scotch Plains was burglarized on Wednesday, according to police. 

"We responded to an alarm call around 10:30 p.m. and the officer observed the window was pried open. Once inside the suspect(s) took money," Capt. Brian Donnelly told Patch.  

Police are investigating.
