Two Scotch Plains Businesses Burglarized

Several hundred dollars in cash was stolen from Shear Precision and Osaka Sushi.

Two Scotch Plains businesses were burglarized sometime overnight on Oct. 3, according to Scotch Plains Police. 

At Shear Precision, a hair salon on Westfield Avenue, the owner reported that sometime overnight the business was entered and several hundred dollars in cash was stolen. Entry was gain by smashing a rear glass door, according to police. 

On the same night, at Osaka Sushi on Park Avenue, a rear window was pried open and several hundred dollars in cash was also stolen.

Police are investigating both incidents.
