21st Mayor's Charity Gala to Honor 9/11 Memorial Volunteers

This year's gala will be held Saturday, December 3 from 7 p.m. until midnight at the Italian American Club in Scotch Plains.

Looking for a night of elegance and an opportunity to honor local volunteers? The 21st Annual Scotch Plains Mayor’s Charity Gala will be held at the Scotch Plains Italian American Club on Saturday, December 3, from 7 p.m. until midnight.

This year, the gala will honor Scotch Plains 9/11 Memorial Volunteers. The memorial was designed by Ernesto Hernandez and built by Checchio Paving and D. Romeo Landscaping.  Tickets are 65 dollars and can be purchased in person at the Recreation Department, online at scotchplainsnj.com, or by calling the Recreation Department at (908) 322-6700, ext. 223.

The granite work for the memorial was done by Eastern Marble and Granite and the pavers were donated by Bartell Farm and Garden Supply.

The list of those that generously gave to ensure that the memorial was completed include many local businesses and organizations; each is listed below.
