Annual Flu Clinic - Scotch Plains Health Department

The Township of Scotch Plains, Health Department will conduct the annual Flu Clinic on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 9:00am to 12:00pm, in the Town Hall Building on Park Avenue.

Flu shots will be given to Scotch Plains residents 65-years and older and for any resident with a long term health condition.   This year’s shot is a combination of the seasonal and H1N1 vaccination.

The health program will also offer a blood screening consisting of blood chemistry, CBC, HDL.   This is an extensive screening that includes red and white blood cell count, total cholesterol count and other counts to monitor bodily functions. Pre-registration is required. Payment is required at that time.

For additional information on the specific costs for each testing, call the Health Department at 908-322-6700, ext. 309.  The Lion’s Club will offer the service of an ear/eye screening to our residents.
