National Night Out - Rahway

The Rahway Police Department invites you to join us as we join forces with the residents of Rahway and thousands of communities nationwide for the“29th Annual National Night Out” (NNO), crime and drug prevention event.

National Night Out is designed to: (1) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; (2) Generate support for local anti-crime efforts; (3) Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships; and (4) Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.  NNO has proven to be an effective and enjoyable program that promotes police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation.

The event, which will take place on Thursday, August 2nd, and will be located in historic downtown Rahway at the intersection of Elm Avenue and Irving Street from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Our event will not occur on the traditional first Tuesday of the month, since we are running it in conjunction with The City of Rahway’s Art district First Thursday celebration.
