H1N1 Clinic Scheduled for Terrill Middle School

Injectable vaccines with preservative will be administered.

The Scotch Plains Health Department has announced its next H1N1 clinic.

Vaccines will be administered from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 16 at Terrill Middle School on Terrill Road. It's recommended that the following populations attend:

  • Pregnant women;
  • Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age;
  • Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel;
  • All people from 6 months through 24 years of age; and,
  • Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.

Clinic lines will be cut or doors closed before 7:30 p.m. to allow the clinic to close at the stated time. Parents or legal guardian must accompany minor.

A H1N1 clinic will also be open to local residents two days prior in Rahway. That clinic will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Rahway Recreation Center at City Hall Plaza.

Children under the age of 10 years old who had their first inoculation on or before November 23rd can utilize either of these clinics for their second dose.
