Jean Michele Moore Launches Fanwood Council Campaign

Two seats are up in the November election, one of which is held by the only Republican Councilman, Tony Parenti, who decided not to seek re-election after six years of service on the Borough Council.

Fanwood Republicans gathered at the home of Jason and Jennifer Benedict last week for their annual lawn party and show support for their Borough Council candidate, Jean Michele Moore.  Two seats are up in the November election, one of which is held by the only Republican Councilman, Tony Parenti, who decided not to seek re-election after six years of service on the Borough Council.

Moore is a resident for just over four years, choosing the Borough for its sense of community and small town feel with the advantage of public transit to New York.  The school system’s reputation and resources available to children with special needs sealed the deal for her and her husband, Patrick, and their children, Austin, Gwendolyn and their toddler twins, Spencer and Reland.

Moore has been an active member of the community through volunteering for the annual Fanwood 5k Run, the Mountainside-Plainfield Mothers of Multiples, and the Fanwood Republican Committee.  She is employed as an executive sales professional with Sanofi Pharmaceutical and is a graduate of Western Michigan University and received an MBA from the University of Michigan.
