Meet New Town Manager, Enjoy Summer Concert Series Today

Jerry Giaimis will introduce himself to residents and staff starting at 6:30 p.m. in Room 202 of town hall.

Councilman Lou Beckerman encourages all residents of Scotch Plains to come to town hall to meet new Town Manager Jerry Giaimis today. 

“As a member of the Council, I want to welcome Jerry to the team,” said Beckerman. “Jerry will be introducing himself to residents and staff on Thursday, July 18 at Scotch Plains Town Hall starting at 6:30 p.m. in Room 202. This is a great opportunity for everyone to come out, say hi, and talk to Jerry about the important issues facing Scotch Plains.” 

Jerry Giaimis will start on July 17. Residents will be able to reach him at town hall at 908-322-6700.

“As a reminder, Thursday is also our concert on the green," Beckerman said. "I hope everyone can make a night of it by coming out to welcome Jerry and then stay and listen to some great music with your neighbors.”  

Funktion 11, a funk rock & pop band, will perform at 7:30 p.m.

The entire schedule is as follows:

7/25 -  Southbound - Country (7:30 p.m.)

8/1    - Exodus Supreme - Reggae (7:30 p.m.)

8/6    - National Night Out

8/15  - Mashwork Orange – Pop Covers (7:30 p.m.)

8/22 – Doo-Wop Concert (7:30 p.m.)

All performances will take place at the Alan Augustine Village Green, adjacent to the Municipal Building.
