NJ.com: Corzine Expected to Sign Autism Bill

The bill will make New Jersey the 14th in the nation to expand insurance coverage.

Gov. Jon Corzine will sign legislation today that will require insurers to expand their coverage of treatments for autism and other developmental disabilities.

The bill will make New Jersey the 14th state to require insurers to do so.

A ceremony marking the legislation was held earlier today at Children's Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick. The hospital has facilities in Fanwood.
