PolitickerNJ.com: Stender Likely to Stay in State Assembly

Sources say that Gov. Corzine will reappoint Frederick Butler instead.

PolitickerNJ.com is reporting that democratic sources have said Gov. Jon Corzine will reappoint Frederick Butler to the Board of Public Utilities and that Linda Stender, D-Fanwood, will seek re-election to a fifth term in the State Assembly. 

There had been speculation that Stender would replace Butler, and that Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr would then replace her in the State Assembly.
