Scotch Plains Day Won't Be Rescheduled

The mayor says she hopes to schedule it earlier next year.

The rain-cancelled Scotch Plains Day on October 18 will not be rescheduled, Mayor Nancy Malool announced Tuesday night.

“It’s pointless to have it when only a quarter of the activities you had planned are still available," she told the council during their conference meeting in the municipal building.

The event would have featured entertainment such as games, live music, food and vendors, but Malool said it was impossible to coordinate another day with all of the participants.
