Scotch Plains Republicans Choose Llewellyn Jones to Run for Council

Llewellyn Jones said he will use his business skills to manage shared resources.

 

The following information was provided by the Scotch Plains Republican Committee.

The Republican Party of Scotch Plains has selected Llewellyn Jones to be their candidate for Township Council in the June 4, 2013 Primary Election.

Mr. Jones graduated from Kenyon College, Gambier, OH with a BA in Mathematics and Economics and received his MS in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA. He is a co-founder of Qtrade Capital Partners, LLC located in Westfield, NJ.

He and his wife, Bridget, have resided in Scotch Plains since 2009. They have a 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter. He has recently served on the Scotch Plains Zoning Board of Adjustment.

Llewellyn stated: “I thank the Scotch Plains Republican Party for selecting me as their candidate for town council. If, in November, the residents of Scotch Plains extend me the honor and privilege of serving them on the town council, I will use my business skills to efficiently manage our shared resources, and I promise to always be open-minded, accessible, and attentive to their concerns.”
