This Week Ahead: Week of Monday, April 2

Fanwood Easter Egg Hunt, BOE budget presentations, and resume workshops are among the highlights of the happenings around town this week.

On Monday, April 2, the will host a resume workshop presented by John Hadley and Career Coach Donna Gerhauser. On April 2 at 7:00 PM, l will host jazz gala featuring four exceptional New Jersey bands including two state champion high school bands - SPF Moonglowers and J.P. Stevens Jazz Ensemble. There will also be guest appearances by the highly-acclaimed New Jersey City University Jazz Ensemble and the lively, innovative Joe Elefante Big Band.  All are welcome to attend; donations will be accepted at the door.

The is pleased to announce from April 2, 2012 - April 5, 2012 at their facility located at 1340 Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains. During SPLASH week at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Y, they will be promoting safety with an in-water Learn to Swim and Safety Training program for youth ages 3-12. The program is free of charge and is open to the community, Monday through Thursday from 4:30 pm -5:15 pm. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

The SPFHS Varsity Boys Soccer team will hold their annual Easter flower sale on Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7 at from 9-4 and Fanwood Bagels from 8-1. This is a fundraiser to help support the team for tournaments and equipment.

On Saturiday, April 7, at 10 a.m., families are invited to gather for the annual Fanwood Easter Egg Hunt at . All children 10 and under are invited to meet the Easter Bunny and join the fun.
