On Monday, January 9, for this year’s Martin Luther King Day of Service. To hear all about co-founder of SPF MLK Day of Service Michelle Shapiro Abraham and the opportunities to participate in this year’s massive movement of SPF volunteers, watch Episode 3 of Let’s Talk Local here. MLK Day of Service will begin at the JCC on January 16.

On Monday, January 9, and Wednesday, January 11, the , located at 2279 South Ave, Scotch Plains will be hosting a blood drive. Paws for Reading comes to the Scotch Plains Library on Monday, January 9 at 7 p.m. Bring your early reader to the library for some one on one practice reading with a furry friend to listen and keep them comfortable and stress free.
