Tonight: Scotch Plains Council Will Vote on 2013 Municipal Budget

See the budget in our gallery.

On Tuesday, May 21, Scotch Plains Council will hold its public hearing and then vote on the 2013 municipal budget.

Mayor Kevin Glover has previously stated that he is proud to present the lowest tax increase (1.26 percent) in the past seven years. However, many residents have voiced concerns that this year's budget cuts necessary funding for the Scotch Plains Library.

At council's last meeting, changes to the library budget were still being discussed. Tonight's meeting will make clear what changes, if any, are going to be made.
