Mix of Snow, Rain, Ice Expected Wednesday; Schools Closed
School district, towns, police, and other agencies are preparing.
A dangerous mix of sleet, snow and freezing rain has been predicted by the National Weather Service in Mount Holly. The snow may be heavy at times, and the accumulation of snow and ice buildup may lead to tree limbs falling on power lines. Power outages are a possibility.
Another coastal storm may roll in Sunday into Monday, bringing with it the potential for significant snow.
Public workers are asking people to clear vehicles from the streets wherever possible to allow snow plows to do their work.Scotch Plains-Fanwood Schools
